The Cyst is a specimen introduced in Killing Floor 2. It is a failed or incomplete version of the Clot, and thus it is the weakest and least dangerous enemy in the game.

They are slow, clumsy, and will trip and fall should they miss their attempt to grab the player.

Background

The Cyst is a Clot variant, being undeveloped and thus very weak, leading to it's strange and almost child-like personality.

Like all of the male specimens, it is a clone of Kevin Clamely's deceased son.

Weak Against:

• Assault Rifles (+50% Damage)
• SMGs (+50% Damage)
• Handguns (+1% Damage)

Strong Against:

• Bludgeon (-10% Damage)
• Slashing (-15% Damage, does not apply to basic Knives)
• Microwave (-75% Damage)

Trivia

• The Cyst was originally going to have translucent skin.
• The Cyst was one of three archetypes for the Clot but the developers decided to create enemies from all three archetypes.
• Motion capture actor Jackamo Harvey described the Cyst as a child, and says he took elements of his childhood into its movements.
• The VR headset on the Cyst's Halloween skin shows that he is playing Killing Floor: Incursion.
• The face of the Cyst somewhat resembles those of children born with harlequin ichthyosis, a skin condition that also affects the shape of facial features, most notably turning the eyelids inside out and pulling the mouth open.
